Formed in the fast times of the late 1990s, THEM emerged out of the necessity for some kind of diversion from the rigors of undergraduate academia. Mind you, this was pre-Bubble, pre-LavinBernick, pre-Cowen. Those simpler times birthed a group of singers and performers that came together in emphatic harmony with the simple puff of a pitch pipe.

Ten years have gone by and THEM continues to thrive. Our third full-length studio album, Let THEM Eat Cake, was just recently released. It features ten songs, all arranged by members of THEM, and was recorded at Axistudio in Metairie, LA. Produced by collegiate a cappella wunderkind, Dave Sperandio, the album will be a revolutionary step forward in establishing Tulane as a home for thriving a cappella.

From the unmistakably uplifting sounds of Stevie Wonder, to the light-hearted Afro-Pop of Lionel Richie, all the way to the booty-shaking, fist-pumping anthems of Timbaland and Carrie Underwood, Let THEM Eat Cake captures this up-and-coming collegiate a cappella group at its most cohesive and talented.

As THEM moves in to the 2009/2010 school year we look forward to showcasing the talent of our latest generation of THEMbers. Continuing our traditions of performance and creativity all of our members are hard at work arranging songs, setting up performances, and practicing our phenomenal repertoire.
